The Everton defender has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City this summer.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Guillem Balague has predicted that John Stones would be wonderful should he get to work under Pep Guardiola.
The Everton defender endured a difficult season last year as his performances came under intense scrutiny.
As the Blues struggled, finishing in 11th for the second successive season, his own ability was questioned as a result of their poor defensive showings.

Despite that, a move to Manchester City has been rumoured this summer, with the Manchester Evening News reporting that Pep Guardiola is keen to take him to the Etihad.
A move is yet to happen, but Balague says the England international would be wonderful working under the former Barcelona manager.
“John Stones would be wonderful working with Guardiola,” he told Radio 5 Live.
“He finds himself in a position where he’s been doubting his ability for the last 12 months or so and he just needs somebody to go and say ‘okay, this is what you need to do’.”
Bayern Munich coach Josep Guardiola
It remains to be seen whether Guardiola’s interest is genuine and Stones will end up at Manchester City this summer.
Everton are not keen to lose one of their key players and resisted big money bids from Chelsea for the defender last season.
Now they are backed by Farhad Moshiri’s money they have even less need to sell and it would not be surprising to see the England international staying at Goodison Park as a result.
