The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague provided an update on Real Madrid’s courtship of Spurs ace Harry Kane today, when writing his regular column for Sky Sports, insisting that the Spanish giants are in no rush to bring him to the Bernabeu.
The 24-year-old striker has been in sensational form for Tottenham this season, scoring 26 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions, and he has now firmly established himself as one of Europe’s most prolific front-men, finishing the calendar year as the continent’s top goalscorer.

Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to hold on to his key man this summer, but it is often hard to resist the overtures of a club of Real Madrid’s stature within the game, especially when a player’s head is turned…just look at Liverpool’s situation with Philippe Coutinho.
Balague, though, insisted that the La Liga side are in no rush to get a deal for Kane over the line, when writing his column for Sky Sports, and will instead focus on signing Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois:

“I think Harry Kane is very much admired by Real Madrid. They also have a very clear idea that Harry Kane is emotionally linked to both Tottenham and Mauricio Pochettino. I don’t think in the case of Kane there’s a rush to go anywhere, and in the case of Real Madrid it’s one to monitor. I’m not sure he will be an immediate target. For them, [Eden] Hazard and [Thibaut] Courtois will be top targets in the summer.”
Tottenham fans will be praying that Kane remains in north London, for another few years at the very least, in the hope of him firing their side to glory both at home and abroad.
