Manchester United won against Celta de Vigo in the Europa League on Thursday.

Well-known Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has told Sky Sports that Manchester United played well against Celta de Vigo in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Premier League giants United got the better of Spanish club Celta 1-0 away from home at the Balaidos in the first leg of the semi-final tie.
Marcus Rashford’s goal midway through the second half proved to be the difference between the two teams.
Balague was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Jose Mourinho’s side against Celta.

“I felt Man Utd were stronger, faster and had the thing that gave them the edge – a strong mentality,” Balague told Sky Sports. “This is clearly a team that is fighting for the top four.
“That keeps you sharp, and they are full of internationals, with a squad that meant they were considered clear favourites.
“They were up against a team who hasn’t found themselves in this position before with players who are punching above their weight.
“Given it was a semi-final at home, they just didn’t have enough in their minds. It was about quality but Celta seemed smaller and shaken by having to face United. It was a fantastic performance from United on the night.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Balaidos on Thursday evening, hosts Celta had 58% of the possession, took nine shots of which two were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors United had 42% of the possession, took 10 shots of which five were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
The second leg of the Europa League semi-final tie between United and Celta will be held at Old Trafford next week.
