Tottenham Hotspur will face off against Juventus in the next stage of the Champions League.

Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague delivered his verdict on Spurs’ Champions League draw against Juventus, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports, warning the Lilywhites that they will have to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance of progressing to the next stage of the competition.
Tottenham were superb throughout the duration of the group stages, winning five and drawing one of their six games in a group that included both Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men face an extremely difficult challenge against Massimiliano Allegri’s side in the knock-out phase of the competition, however, with many of the Bianconeri’s players highly experienced in playing at the very highest level.

Balague highlighted Juve’s experience as something that could prove to be crucial during the last-16 tie, when speaking to Sky Sports, but insisted that Spurs can progress through to the quarter-finals:

“Juve are more streetwise. Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, and Jan Vertonghen will have to play to their absolute maximum, but can they do it? Of course they can.”
Tottenham have a lot of business to take care of between now and their clash with Juventus, however, with 18 points currently separating them and league leaders Manchester City in the Premier League table.
A good run in domestically, however, will set them up perfectly for their two-legged tie against the Italian giants.
