Well-known Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has told Sky Sports that Real Madrid will not sell Dani Ceballos in the January transfer window.

According to Diario Gol, Ceballos wants to leave Madrid this month and join Liverpool (click here to read more).

The 21-year-old has struggled for playing time at the Spanish and European giants so far this season.

The Spain Under-21 international has played a total of just 186 minutes of La Liga football so far this season, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.

According to Sky Sports, Madrid had to pay Betis a transfer fee of £15 million in order to secure the services of Ceballos.

While Liverpool fans may be excited at the prospect of seeing the talented and promising youngster turn out for the Anfield outfit, well-known Spanish football journalist Balague, who works for Sky Sports, has said that Madrid will not sell the youngster, who is one of the best young midfielders in Europe.

Balague told Sky Sports when asked about the chances of Liverpool making a bid for Ceballos: “No chance. Not a possibility. Real won’t sell anyway, they don’t want to sell.”
