Jon Toral could be set for a reunion with Rangers boss Mark Warburton.
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has told Sky Sports that Arsenal’s Jon Toral wants to join Rangers over a number of Championship clubs.
Toral, 21, joined Arsenal back in 2011 after spending eight years in the Barcelona academy, and he was signed with a view to emulating Cesc Fabregas’ success having also traded the Camp Nou for North London.

The playmaker has so far yet to make his first appearance for Arsenal, and he’s currently on his third loan spell away from the club having been farmed out to Granada after stints with Brentford and Birmingham City.
Yet, having made just five league appearances for Granada this season, Toral could be on the move again, with his former Brentford boss Mark Warburton keen to lure him to Rangers.

The Daily Record reported earlier this week that, with Niko Kranjcar out for the rest of the season, Warburton wants to sign Spaniard Toral as his replacement in a loan move until the end of the season.
Toral hinted to the Daily Record earlier today that a deal could be on the cards, and Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has now offered his insight into the deal.
Balague claims that Toral will end his loan with Grandada this month, and whilst he’s received offers from Championship clubs, he wants to reunite with Warburton at Rangers – and Arsenal are happy to let him play and develop at Ibrox.
“Jon Toral prefers to go to Rangers, instead of other Championship teams that approached him, because he knows well (Rangers boss) Mark Warburton from their time at Brentford,” said Balague. “He wants to leave to improve and have minutes, and the club understands all that so will let him go,” he added.
Having hit six goals and two assists in 35 appearances for Brentford, Toral is unsurprisingly keen on a reunion with Warburton, and we could see the deal go through in the coming days.
