Middlesbrough are reportedly interested in signing Victor Valdes following the expiration of his contract at Manchester United.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has claimed that Middlesbrough are interested in signing Victor Valdes.
Valdes is currently a free agent, following the expiration of his contract at Manchester United.
The Spanish international has offers from all around the world, but Balague claims that Middlesbrough are hoping to convince the experienced stopper to stay in England.
Valdes had a miserable time at United, and he failed to break into their team ahead of David De Gea.
The 34-year-old remains a high profile talent, however, and he would be an eye catching addition for Middlesbrough.

Aitor Karanka’s side are aiming to strengthen their squad, as they look to compete back in the Premier League.
At the moment Dimi Konstantopoulos is Middlesbrough’s first choice goalkeeper, but he could be replaced this summer.
Boro have already signed Bernando Espinosa, Marten De Roon and Viktor Fischer so far this summer.
