Well-known Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has claimed on social networking site Twitter that Barcelona believe that Liverpool could sell Philippe Coutinho on transfer deadline day.
According to Balague, Spanish and European giants Barcelona think that Liverpool’s recent transfer activity suggest that they could be open to the idea of selling the 25-year-old Brazil international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
According to BBC Sport, Liverpool have rejected as many as three bids from Barcelona for Coutinho.
