According to The Mirror, the Argentine is one of the names on the Barca managerial wishlist. The Spanish club are on the hunt for a new manager with current boss Luis Enrique set to leave at the end of the season.
While many Tottenham fans may be worried about the meeting, Balague has explained the nature of the meeting between the two men, suggesting that the White Hart Lane faithful have nothing to worry about.
Balague’s posts on Twitter suggest that it was just a chance encounter, and that Spurs fans need not worry.
Pochettino has done a wonderful job at Tottenham, who could end up second in the Premier League this season.
Spurs could establish themselves as regulars in the Champions League in the coming years.
