Some Arsenal fans on Twitter are responding to Matteo Guendouzi’s latest post on Twitter.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta had a falling-out with the young French midfielder last summer and the former Lorient gem was subsequently loaned to Hertha Berlin.

But Guendouzi, a £8 million signing by Arsenal in 2018, has been a big hit in Germany’s top flight, netting twice in 12 league starts for the capital club.

Back in England, the 21-year-old could, at times, perhaps be accused of immaturity and goading Brighton’s Neal Maupay about the disparity in both players’ wages, on what was his last appearance for the North Londoners, illustrates that the player had a good bit of growing up to do when Arteta loaned him out.

That being said, Guendouzi has shown a touch of class and maturity on Twitter by paying tribute to head coach Bruno Labbadia and general manager Michael Preetz, both of whom were sacked by Hertha following the 4-1 defeat by Werder Bremen this past weekend.

Guendouzi thanked the pair for bringing him to the club and here’s how some Arsenal supporters responded to the message:
