You could say that Matteo Guendouzi is loving life away from Arsenal.
The Frenchman is rapidly becoming a cult figure among Marseille fans for his passion and no-nonsense characteristics in midfield.
Not only that, but the 22-year-old, who left Arsenal on loan to join the Ligue 1 club this past summer, scored his first goal for them before the international break, resulting in a call-up to the France senior squad.

That’s because a lot of Gunners supporters wanted Mikel Arteta to keep Guendouzi in his senior squad for this season because let’s face it, he’s better than Mohamed Elneny.
And yet, the sight of him laughing and joking with Antoine Griezmann on international duty is a visual representation of how he has gone on to better things since leaving.
Because if he’s good enough to share a France squad with Griezmann, a superstar of the game, then how can he not be good enough for the Premier League’s worst team at this moment in time?
Remember, Arteta’s side are rock bottom of the Premier League table after losing all three of their opening games, conceding nine and scoring a total of zero.
