According to Le10sport, Manchester City are keen on Porto’s Alex Telles in a move which could scupper Arsenal’s plans of signing Layvin Kurzawa.
Kurzawa has been linked with an exit from Paris Saint-Germain.
Spanish editorial Sport claims the left-back is interested in a move to Arsenal while his PSG contract runs down.
The Gunners are seemingly on the lookout for a new left-back as Scotland international Kieran Tierney has struggled to make an impact at the Emirates Stadium.
Kurzawa has been accredited as a target. And, according to Goal, PSG have identified Porto’s Alex Telles as the ideal replacement for the Frenchman.
But if Telles ends up moving elsewhere, Kurzawa could end up staying in Paris.
Le10sport claim Chelsea also want Telles for around £25 million. But reigning Premier League champions City are the latest club to show an interest.
Pep Guardiola’s side have had problems at left-back for some time. Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko have struggled with fitness, while Fabian Delph left last summer.
For Arsenal and Mikel Arteta, it could be a setback in their intentions.
Kurzawa, 27, has an abundance of ability. Quick, strong in the tackle and built well at 6ft 0inch, the France international would be an ideal addition in North London.
