Graham Roberts has reacted strongly on Twitter to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola’s comments about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
What has Pep Guardiola said?
City boss Guardiola has said that he wants to sign Kane from Premier League rivals Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
The former Barcelona head coach has added that a deal can happen only if Spurs are ready to negotiate over the transfer fee.
The Daily Star reported this week that City are willing to pay £120 million for the 28-year-old striker, who is valued at £160 million by Spurs.
Guardiola told Sky Sports: “He (Kane) is a player for Tottenham Hotspur and if Tottenham don’t want to negotiate, it is finished.
“I think Man City and many clubs in the world want to try to sign him, we are not an exception, but it depends on Tottenham.”

What does Graham Roberts think?
Former Tottenham star Roberts has said that if City want to sign Kane, then they need to pay £160 million.
Could a transfer happen?
Tottenham are not going to sell Kane on the cheap.
Perhaps Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will not let go of the striker even if City offer £160 million.

Kane has a contract at Spurs, and the North London club are not obliged to sell him now.
If City want to sign Kane, then they have to pay what Spurs want.
Now, of course, Kane will have a say on the matter as well.
The striker has made it pretty clear that he wants to leave Spurs by reportedly not turning up for pre-season training this week.
