Jason Cundy has fired shots at Tottenham Hotspur and how their final game of the season will be a ‘guaranteed three points’ for relegation-threatened Leeds United.

The former Chelsea player told Javi Gracia’s Leeds United to ‘build before that’, as there is every chance they have to go to the final day of the season again, in order to survive.

Whilst relegation will be on the line for the Whites, those in north London will be fighting for Europe, who now have Ryan Mason in charge until the end of the season after booting out Cristian Stellini.

In terms of the Champions League, that might be gone for Tottenham by the time the final game of the season comes about, but they will still be fighting for some sort of Europan competition.

Either way, given Spurs’ recent troubles, especially away from home, Cundy couldn’t help but dig at Chelsea’s London rivals and their final-day trip to Yorkshire, as he told talkSPORT.

“But hold on, hold on, then you have got Spurs at home,” said Cundy when reacting to Leeds’ run-in. “Ollie (Leeds fan), Spurs at home, there is a guaranteed three points. Build before that, then you have got a chance.”

DOOM AND GLOOM AT BOTH CLUBS

After making a return to the Premier League two seasons ago, Leeds fans will be feeling that there is no progression and they are, more than anything, heading back down given how their ship is being run.

Whilst those in north London, after a number of years in the Champions League, will be worried that their decline will start, especially if they lose Harry Kane in the summer.

Either way, it’s doom and gloom at both clubs, as both could be bringing in new managers for next season, in what would be more changes to their club’s management team.
