West Bromwich Albion managed to pick up a 0-0 draw with Liverpool last night.
Alan Pardew dropped Krychowiak during his first two matches in charge, but the Polish international was restored to the Baggies’ starting line-up yesterday.
Krychowiak put in arguably his best performance in a West Brom shirt at Anfield, as Albion picked up a credible 0-0 draw.
Krychowiak was actually taken off in the 79th minute, with Chris Brunt coming on as his replacement.
And the former PSG man admits that his fitness is not quite up to scratch yet.
He said: “I couldn’t play 90 minutes because this was my first game in three weeks and it was a little but hard physically.
“But now we have another big game against Manchester (United). Now we have to start scoring again. It’s a big game but we are capable of a win.”
Pardew is still waiting for his first win since taking charge at West Brom, but last night’s draw was his most positive result.
West Brom may not have created too many chances of their own, but they did limit Liverpool’s attacking threat.
As things stand, West Brom are in 17th place in the Premier League table, but they have both Crystal Palace and West Ham United breathing down their necks.
