The Liverpool midfielder has been linked with a loan move to West Ham United.

It is clear that West Ham United need to strengthen their midfield in this month’s transfer window, and a surprise candidate has emerged to solve that problem.
Midfielder Marko Grujic, who has been unable to command regular playing time for Liverpool this season, could join West Ham on loan, as reported by ESPN.

The report indicates that Huddersfield Town and Aston Villa are also interested in signing Grujic on a temporary basis, but it is questionable whether the Serbian is the player that West Ham require given their current predicament.
Just two points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League, West Ham know that they need to start performing consistently in order to preserve their top flight status and can’t afford many slip-ups.

Grujic undoubtedly possesses vast potential but has only made 14 appearances for Liverpool and his lack of Premier League experience is a major concern.
The 21-year-old, who signed for Liverpool for £5.1million in 2016 (BBC), has excellent technique and is a fine passer of the ball, yet he isn’t especially strong and it seems that West Ham would be better off looking elsewhere as they aim to improve their midfield.
