Chelsea are concerned about selling Conor Gallagher to Tottenham Hotspur having already sold players to Premier League rivals.
Tottenham Hotspur want Conor Gallagher but they may face a battle to convince Chelsea into selling.
That is according to a report from the Daily Mail, who claim that Tottenham fancy bringing Gallagher to North London.
Tottenham are expecting to lose Pierre-Emile Højbjerg this summer with a move to Atletico Madrid allegedly likely.
Spurs are therefore looking at midfield signings with Gallagher on their list alongside Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz and Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga.
The Guardian claimed just a few days ago that Tottenham have held talks to sign Gallagher this summer.
It’s unclear whether that was with Chelsea or with Gallagher’s representatives, although we would guess the latter.
Tottenham are understood to like the energy and goalscoring ability Gallagher provides, but Chelsa seem to have some lingering concerns.

The Mail’s report claims that there is a growing concern that Chelsea are letting too many players join their direct rivals.
Chelsea allowed Jorginho to move on to London rivals Arsenal in January, months before Kai Havertz made the same switch.
Mason Mount has moved on to Manchester United whilst Mateo Kovacic has been snapped up by Manchester City.
Chelsea needed to offload players but outside of sales to Saudi Arabia, Premier League rivals have been their biggest source of outgoings.
That is partly a product of the Premier League’s ridiculous finances; few clubs around the world can pay top prices anymore.
The top Premier League clubs have had to accept selling to their rivals and Chelsea are no different.
Maybe selling Gallagher would be seen as a step too far but if Tottenham come up with a big offer, the Blues may struggle to stay no.
