Just another day in the office for Arsenal’s star boy, Bukayo Saka!
Leading up to Arsenal’s weekend showdown against Bournemouth, there were some concerns about Bukayo Saka’s injury status and whether he would feature in the South Coast – Paul Merson was left ‘frustrated’ by how he was treated against Bournemouth.
Well, the Arsenal fans would have been delighted to see his name on the teamsheet at 2pm on Saturday, with the 22-year-old not letting up by opening the scoring during his side’s thumping 4-0 win.
Highbury hero Kevin Campbell is loving every minute of what Bukayo Saka is turning into, as he stated that he is ‘growing from a boy into a man’, as he told Sky Sports News (01/10/23).
That fresh-faced teenager, who once made his debut under Unai Emery, is now, not only one of the first names on the teamsheet for Arsenal, but for England also.
There is a reason why he was recently named England’s Player of the Year. An award that was handed to him by Tottenham’s James Maddison.

Bukayo Saka’s growth
“I think he (Saka) has been absolutely outstanding,” said Campbell. “He’s just growing from a boy to a man right in front of our eyes. And he just seems to be getting better and better every time.”

Taking the next step
It’s all about trophies now. Everyone can see the talent and consistent performances from Saka. He just needs the trophy to shine it all off.
The Premier League title is the ultimate one. Arsenal have been as close as they have ever been to ending their drought.
But they just so happen to be up against a trophy-winning machine in Manchester City, who after losing to Wolves over the weekend, will travel to the Emirates on Sunday for a mouthwatering tie.
