Celtic continue to steamroll their way through the Scottish Premiership.
Leigh Griffiths in action for Celtic
Leigh Griffiths has explained how he incurred the wrath of Jozo Simunovic after he flicked on the Croatian’s goal-bound effort and, in turn, claimed his third league goal of the season, as quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times.
Celtic displayed their total dominance in the Scottish Premiership once again with a 6-1 win over Kilmarnock on Saturday.
Substitute Leigh Griffiths scored the Hoops’ fourth goal, just one minute after coming onto the pitch, and he described how Simunovic was not best pleased, as quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times:

“The big man was raging that I got a touch! That is why I am there on the goalkeeper for any bits and pieces that I can help get in and it sets me up for Wednesday.”
Celtic now sit four points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the table after winning five and drawing one of their opening six league games.

A sterner test lies ahead for Brendan Rodgers’ side, however, as they host Manchester City on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
The Glasgow giants will have to avoid defeat at the very least if they have any realistic hopes of qualifying for the knock-out stages of the competition.
Griffiths will be hoping to start the game against City and help fire his side to what would be a famous win.
