Rangers have handed Greg Stewart his dream move to Ibrox.

Rangers new boy Greg Stewart has told Rangers TV that he thinks the squad at Ibrox will be kicking themselves at the amount of points they dropped last season.
The Gers have made five new signings so far this summer, and it’s fair to say that Stewart is the one with the most questions surrounding his arrival.
Last season, Stewart was the epitome of a ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ player. On loan at Kilmarnock, Stewart hit eight goals in 16 games, thriving under Steve Clarke.
The 29-year-old then moved on to a second spell with Aberdeen in January, and scored just twice in 20 outings for the Dons, flopping once again at Pittodrie.
Rangers then curiously swooped in to sign him once Birmingham City had announced his exit at the end of his contract, handing him a dream move to his boyhood club.
Rangers are seemingly hoping that Stewart can provide some extra creativity in the final third, representing another squad option for Steven Gerrard.

Now, Stewart has admitted that he thinks he’s joining Rangers at the perfect time having seen the way they played last season, but thinks Gers players will be kicking themselves for ‘stupid’ dropped points.
“I don’t think I could be joining at a better time to be honest,” said Stewart. “You can see the way the boys are playing…they’re probably kicking themselves a little bit just with the stupid points dropped last season – they could’ve had it, but hopefully we can put things right this season,” he added.
Rangers only lost one more game than Celtic, but nine draws really hurt them, and with Stewart vowing to make amends, Gerrard will be hoping that Stewart can help turn some of those draws into wins next season.
