Rangers-owned Greg Docherty is eyeing an Ibrox return this summer.

Shrewsbury Town loanee Greg Docherty has told The Telegraph that he hopes Rangers boss Steven Gerrard saw his goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
Docherty was in action as the League One side took on Wolves in the fourth round of the FA Cup, and he made a huge impact.
The Scot burst into the box to smash home the opening goal from a tight angle, before Luke Waterfall headed home a second for the hosts.
However, Wolves hit back with goals from Raul Jimenez and Matt Doherty, forcing a 2-2 draw and a replay at Molineux next month.
The star of the show though was Docherty, with the Rangers midfielder continuing to star in a Shrewsbury shirt having joined on loan for the season.
That was Docherty’s eighth goal of the season, as the 22-year-old has really proven himself as a goalscoring midfielder in England’s third tier this term.
It’s a year since Docherty left Hamilton Academical for Rangers, but he was immediately send out on loan by Steven Gerrard in order to pick up more first-team experience elsewhere.

Now, boyhood Gers fan Docherty has admitted that he hopes Gerrard has seen his goal against Wolves, believing it may go some way to helping him achieve his dream of being a Rangers first-team player next season – something that many fans at Ibrox would no doubt love to see after his exploits this season.
“I hope he sees it,” said Docherty. “Goals are crucial and it’s something I need to keep adding to my game. So if people up north can take note, that would be great. Of course, I want to go back (to Rangers) and fight for my place – that’s a given. I’m determined to go back and have a go at it up there.”
“But coming here was all about progressing and I’m happy with that. We had an honest chat and he said that to be a bit part player this season wouldn’t have helped me develop and I can honestly say I’ve developed and matured a lot,” he added.
