Glasgow Rangers-owned Greg Docherty was in action for Shrewsbury Town against Sunderland at the weekend.

Docherty, who joined Rangers on loan from Shrewsbury in the summer transfer window, featured for Sunderland in their League One match at the Montgomery Waters Meadow on Saturday afternoon.
An own goal from Omar Beckles saw the Black Cats take the lead after 58 minutes, and Luke O’Nien doubled the advantage for Jack Ross’s team on 84 minutes.
Docherty has given his take on Shrewsbury’s defeat, and the 22-year-old Scottish midfielder has suggested that Sunderland were a bit lucky.
“We were pushing for a goal and they went up the other end of the pitch and got the second,” Docherty told Shrewsbury’s official website.
“It was difficult for us. We were pushing and the luck has fell to them and maybe knocked us for six for five or 10 minutes.
“We had more than enough to get back into the game if we just tightened up in the final third – we should have created more chances.”
