Rangers earned a 4-0 win over Dundee on Saturday afternoon.

Steven Gerrard will have been delighted by his Rangers side’s performance on Saturday as they rediscovered winning ways with an emphatic 4-0 win over Dundee – and Glenn Middleton notched his first for the club.
Middleton, 18, started from the bench as Lassana Coulibaly opened the scoring from close range before Ryan Kent got his name on the score sheet for the first time in Rangers colours after good build-up play.
James Tavernier then scored a penalty to score – his 30th Rangers goal – after good work from Alfredo Morelos. The Colombian missed plenty of chances, before Middleton came on to score after a defensive mix-up from Genseric Kusunga.
Former Norwich City teen Middleton has impressed since Gerrard took over at Ibrox, and is becoming a useful, exuberant weapon off the bench. On-loan midfielder Greg Docherty and coach Michael Beale applauded him on Twitter.
Docherty is currently on loan at Shrewsbury Town in England’s League One where he notched his second goal of a season-long loan spell, in a 2-0 win over Southend United.
Middleton is likely to be named on the bench as Rangers go up against Spanish giants Villarreal away from home on Thursday, in their first outing in the Europa League group stages.
