Speaking on the Leeds United YouTube channel, Rodrigo has been full of praise for Luke Ayling after his goal against Wolves.
Ayling scored, arguably, the most dramatic goal of his career against Wolves a fortnight ago, securing a massive three points for Leeds in their battle against relegation.
However, while his goal made headlines, his celebration was the biggest talking point as Ayling pulled out a botched cartwheel, forward roll combination at Molineux.
Rodrigo was tickled by Ayling’s celebration, and he states that the right-back is such a good teammate due to his humour, leadership and quality.
What’s been said?
Rodrigo spoke about Ayling.
“Oh my god, Luke Ayling is the best, Luke Ayling for me he’s the best. He always has good moments, he’s so funny. I always say it, this guy is a positive leader, he’s a great teammate and he’s a great player as well. I’m really happy for him and really happy for us. I hope he can do another crazy celebration in the next two games,” Rodrigo said.

Brilliant
Ayling may not be the best footballer in the Premier League, but he’s one of Leeds’ most important players.
There’s a reason he’s taken the captain’s armband in the absence of Liam Cooper. He’s a player everyone seems to get on with and he’s also a fantastic leader on the pitch.
His celebration against Wolves was brilliant, and just hearing Rodrigo speak about that moment shows how much it’s lifted the mood in the Leeds camp.
