Queens Park Rangers saw off the challenge of Portsmouth on Tuesday night.

Queens Park Rangers fans have turned to Twitter to celebrate their side’s 2-0 FA Cup victory over Portsmouth, with the west Londoner’s progressing to round five for the first time in 22 years.
Goals from Nahki Wells and Matt Smith ensured the R’s safe passage in what turned out to be a straight forward win, with the League One side offering very little over the course of 90 minutes.
QPR started the brighter of the two sides and were unlucky not to go in at the interval a goal to the good, after Darnell Furlong’s header hit the bar in what was a fairly lacklustre first 45.
After the break, Rangers came racing out of the blocks and forced a couple of chances via Wells, but it was not until the 70th minute that the forward took his chance.

A corner from Luke Freeman was headed down by Smith, and eventually bundled in by Wells to claim his eighth goal of the season.
Seven minutes later, the Rs put the game to bed when Smith headed home powerfully from another Freeman corner. Pompey did come out of their shell somewhat after the goal but it was too little, too late.

Naturally, QPR fans were delighted with the result and they will be eagerly anticipating the visit of Premier League Watford a week on Friday.
Here, we take a look at some of the best reaction from Rs supporters via Twitter.
