Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Illan Meslier getting nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for March.
As announced on Leeds’s official Twitter page, Leeds goalkeeper Meslier is among the players who have been nominated for the prestigious award.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, Manchester City winger Ryad Mahrez, Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw, United-owned West Ham attacker Jesse Lingard, Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, Brighton and Hove Albion’s Leandro Trossard, and Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen are the other players.
Meslier is one of the best players at Leeds and has established himself as a regular in the first team under manager Marcelo Bielsa.
During the month of March, the 21-year-old conceded three goals in three Premier League games and kept a clean sheet against Chelsea.
The Frenchman did well between the posts and the goals that he conceded were not his fault.
