Brendan Rodgers has praised Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, in his post match interview with the Leicester Mercury.
Tottenham ran out comfortable 3-0 winners over Leicester yesterday, with Kane scooping up most the headlines.
The England captain was back to his best, as he scored twice to help Tottenham to victory.
Lloris was also in excellent form for Spurs though, as he pulled off a handful of superb stops.
And Rodgers admits that one save from Lloris, when Tottenham were only 1-0 up, was crucial.
“We had a good response, Lloris made a great save. But they then scored two more,” he said.
“Frustrated. We started with confidence. Our shape was giving them a problem. I’m disappointed with the first goal.

“We knew their threat was going to be on the counter and we had enough bodies to deal with it.
“We were 3-0 down but had played well in the game.”
Lloris has been in excellent form for Tottenham since the restart of the Premier League.
There had been some doubts over the French captain’s form, but he has been hugely reliable since Tottenham came back to action.
Spurs’s win over Leicester strengthens their bid for a Europa League spot, with Jose Mourinho’s side now in sixth place in the Premier League table.
