The Spanish news outlet believe that Barcelona and Sevilla are also chasing the 32-year-old, who is currently at Inter Milan.
Estadio Deportivo write that the Italian giants are facing financial problems, and have asked the 133-cap Chile international to leave.
His €7 million-a-year (£6 million-a-year, £115,384-a-week) wages are proving problematic for Inter Milan.
Sánchez is believed to be open to leaving, as long as he finds the right club.
If West Ham signed him, it would seem a great move if you were to judge him on his previous Premier League antics.
In 154 games for Arsenal, the South American scored 63 goals.
Lionel Messi loves the West Ham target
One man who rates Sánchez highly is Lionel Messi.
The six-time Ballon d’Or winner played alongside the Chilean at Barcelona, where they combined for 25 goals in 117 games.
Speaking when Sánchez was still at Udinese, Messi described the West Ham target as a ‘great player’ as Barcelona tried to sign him.

If someone like Messi thinks that of Sánchez, it speaks volumes about his quality.
Some West Ham fans might argue that the attacker is now too old at 32.
They would have a case. However, his seven goals and eight assists this season suggest Sánchez still has a lot of quality.
