Bournemouth boss Jason Tindall spoke about Josh King’s future after watching his side lose 3-1 to Reading last night.
According to talkSPORT, the 51-cap Norway international is West Ham’s top target as David Moyes hunts for a Sebastien Haller replacement.
However, the Hammers won’t have enjoyed hearing what Tindall had to say last night.
Speaking to Sky Sports after full-time (via Goal – 02:30), the Cherries boss said: “He said to me today that he’s staying here until the end of the season.
“That’s great news for us and I’m sure Josh will be looking to do extremely well for us from now until the end of the season.”
While late drama can always happen when it comes to transfers, it very much sounds as if King will be staying at the Vitality Stadium.

Seeing as the Irons have made him their top target, this throws a spanner in the works.
What does Moyes do now? Perhaps he’ll push hard to change King’s mind, or maybe he’ll drop his interest entirely and pursue another target.
Whatever the Scot decides, he needs to act fast with Monday’s deadline looming over him.
In our view, Tindall’s revelation shouldn’t upset West Ham that much.

Why? Well, King is undoubtedly a good player – you don’t score 48 Premier League goals if you aren’t one.
However, he is yet to score, or even assist, a goal in 12 Championship appearances this season.
If he’s struggling to succeed in the second tier, the chances of him stepping into the top-flight and making an impact seem slim.
He’s certainly proven himself at this level already, but his efforts this season should provide cause for concern, in our view.
