Jose Enrique has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to AS Monaco manager Philippe Clement saying that he is about to sign Takumi Minamino from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The former Liverpool star believes that it is “great news” for the Anfield club and for Minamino that the Japan international attacker is leaving the Reds for Ligue 1 club Monaco.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Monaco have competed the deal to sign Minamino, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
90min have reported that Monaco will pay Liverpool an initial transfer fee of €15 million (£12.91 million) for the 27-year-old.
Takumi Minamino to leave Liverpool for AS Monaco

Anfield exit makes sense
In our view, it would make sense for Takumi Minamino to leave Liverpool for AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.
The Japanese star has struggled for playing time at Liverpool, and is clearly not a player manager Jurgen Klopp thinks can play regularly for the first team.
After all, Minamino made only one start in the Premier League last season.
Monaco are a big club and could play in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League next season.
Minamino has a lot of experience, and he would be able to play regularly for Monaco next season.
