Jack Collison has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to a report that West Ham United have made Tomas Soucek’s loan deal permanent.
The defensive midfielder joined West Ham on loan from Slavia Prague in the January transfer window.
The Sun reported earlier this month that there is a clause in the deal that the 25-year-old will join the Hammers permanently if they are not relegated from the Premier League.
The report added that the Czech Republic international will sign a four-year contract with West Ham, who will have to pay a transfer fee of £15 million.
According to WhoScored, Soucek has made 10 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for West Ham, scoring three goals in the process.
ExWHUemployee has now claimed on Twitter that West Ham have finalised the permanent signing of Soucek, and that it will be announced after it is officially confirmed that David Moyes’s side will not go down to the Championship.
West Ham are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 37 points from 36 matches, as many as six points above the relegation zone.
Former West Ham midfielder Collison has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the report, and believes that it is a great deal.
