The former Liverpool star has said that it is great news for the Anfield faithful that star forward Salah is on his way back to the Reds.
As reported by The Athletic, Salah will not play for Egypt in their friendly international match against Liberia on Tuesday.
Egypt manager Rui Vitoria has reportedly decided to rest the former Chelsea player.
Salah will now return to Merseyside earlier than expected.

In our opinion, Mohamed Salah returning to Liverpool early is great news for the Merseyside club.
It means that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will get extra time to work with the forward ahead of the return of Premier League matches this coming weekend.
Salah will not be at risk of any injury on Tuesday.
It is a friendly after all, so it is not that Egypt need to win the match.
We think that it is a great decision to let Salah leave the Egypt camp early.
