Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has praised Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, during a question and answer session on Twitter last night.

Rashford was asked who he considered to be the best African footballer in the Premier League, and he named the Liverpool man as his choice.

Mane actually hasn’t had the greatest season this term for Liverpool, with his standards falling slightly below the norm.

However, the £34 million Senegalese international’s (BBC Sport) quality remains undoubted.

Mane has suffered from Liverpool’s dip in form, but he still remains a major threat.

Liverpool will be leaning on Mane to find his optimum performance levels over the remainder of the season.

The Reds are chasing a top four spot, and if Mane can start scoring prolifically again, then it would be a huge boost for the Reds.
