According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano in CaughtOffSide, Arsenal are very happy with Jorginho after signing him from Graham Potter’s Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Romano has said that the impact that the 31-year-old Italy international midfielder has made in the Arsenal dressing room has really impressed the Gunners’ hierarchy.

The Italian reporter, though, has added that Arsenal still plan to sign a midfielder in the summer transfer window.

Jorginho joined Arsenal from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Arsenal really happy with Jorginho after signing from Chelsea

Romano wrote: “Arsenal are very happy with Jorginho, on the pitch but also in the dressing room he had great impact and they’re very happy with him.

“I still believe that Arsenal want a new midfielder in the summer to help Mikel Arteta if they find the right opportunity, but Jorginho is a permanent signing and they’re convinced it was an excellent deal.”

Good addition to Arsenal

In our opinion, Jorginho has been a brilliant signing for Arsenal.

The Italy international midfielder has been able to make an immediate impact at Arsenal and has enhanced the Gunners’ chances of winning the Premier League title this season.

Jorginho is a hugely experienced footballer who won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea and the Euro 2020 finals with Italy.

Yes, he is 31 now, but Jorginho is still in his prime.

We believe that Arsenal have made a really smart signing in Jorginho, who could be hugely important in the Gunners’ quest to win the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City this season.
