Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has praised his teammate Leandro Trossard on the club’s official website for setting up his goal against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal got the better of Leicester 1-0 away from home at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.
Brazil international forward Martinelli scored the only goal of the match in the 46th minute.
Winger Trossard, who joined Arsenal from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window, provided the assist.

Martinelli said: “It was a good goal, a beautiful goal, it was a great ball from Leo and I just put it in the back of the net, it was a good goal.”

Good display
In our view, both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard played well for Arsenal against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Trossard had a goal controversially ruled out by VAR, and the winger also did well as a false 9.
Martinelli did not have the best of times in the first half, but the Brazil international did better in the second period and took his goal extremely well.
The 21-year-old has not been in great form in recent times, while Trossard joined Arsenal just a few weeks ago in January.
So, it could take some time for the two players to get used to play with each other.
