Kevin Hatchard says Hoffenheim striker Georginio Rutter will be a ‘great fit’ for Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United ahead of a possible January transfer.
The Bundesliga football expert added that Rutter is ‘unplayable’ on his day, and put stats aside, the 20-year-old is just ‘fun’ and ‘enjoyable’ to watch, as he told The Transfer Show on Sky Sports News.
With Patrick Bamford still battling his injury problems and the struggling Yorkshire side having to rely upon Rodrigo, then a forward focal point is needed this month.

Some may point towards Leeds needing experience and know-how as they face a second season fighting to stay in the Premier League.
But there is a strong, vibrant, exciting and fearless forward line that Marsch is building at Elland Road, added to if this Rutter deal can get over the line.
European football expert Hatchard has watched the young Frenchman up close and personal from his days at Rennes and he provided some exciting comments for Leeds fans to digest.
“Yes, I am a massive fan,” said Hatchard. “He’s one of those guys. We look at data. We look at numbers. How many goals have they got? How many assists have they got?
“But sometimes when you watch a player, you just enjoy it because they are fun. From the moment he got to Hoffenheim, he is somebody that wanted to affect the game, whether it was with a mazy run or a shot from range. Or a little bit of skill.
“He is terrific. He was already the youngest-ever French player to have scored in the Champions League, even younger than Mbappe when he did it. He didn’t get game time at Rennes. He wanted to move on.
“At Hoffenheim, he has some games where he has been unplayable. Defenders think they have got him caged by the touchline and he will weave through them and make something happen. He is still raw, not the finished article, but I think he will be a great fit for Leeds.”

LEEDS BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
It wasn’t so long ago that the Leeds faithful were chanting Marcelo Bielsa’s name when their team was getting beaten at Leicester City before the World Cup.
And whilst the form of the Whites has been up and down this season, Marsch needs to be given time because this is a young squad he is building.
From Wilfried Gnonto to Crysencio Summerville and Tyler Adams in the middle of the park, this Leeds team could be cooking some serious stuff in years to come.
And if Rutter signs, he will only take those spice levels up because he has an outstanding future in the game.
