Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter after the Daily Mail’s Craig Hope revealed that Eddie Howe will be on the touchline against Arsenal.
What’s the story?
Well, Jason Tindall held the pre-match press conference on Thursday, suggesting that Howe would miss another game for Newcastle.
However, Hope has now delivered some fantastic news in revealing that the 43-year-old – who earns £3m-a-year (£57,692-a-week) – has returned a negative test.
Howe had been staying involved through the wonders of technology, having designed the training sessions throughout the week for Tindall and Graeme Jones to implement.
Hope also revealed that the ex-Bournemouth boss has analysed footage from those sessions.
It will be great for Newcastle to have Howe on the touchline for the first time, as they look to record their first win of the campaign.
Eddie Howe news is massive for Newcastle

Howe must’ve been hugely frustrated to be ripped apart from his new side, just days after replacing Steve Bruce at St James’ Park.
Despite his absence, there were some signs of change against Brentford, specifically in attack as the Magpies scored three goals.
Howe missing another game would’ve been devastating for Newcastle, as they have already wasted a third of the season and cannot afford to throw away any more points.

Admittedly, a trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal is going to be a tough test, but with Howe on the sidelines, Newcastle’s chances of a result have surely increased.
For now, let’s see what the Newcastle fans on Twitter have been saying about the news…
