Jose Enrique has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to speculation that Sergio Reguilon is about to leave Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and join Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Reguilon will leave Tottenham for Atletico on a loan deal.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that once the final details are sorted and Renan Lodi’s transfer to Nottingham Forest is finalised, the 25-year-old former Real Madrid left-back will move to Atletico from Spurs.
Former Liverpool star and Stadium Astro pundit Enrique believes that Reguilon is a really good left-back, and thinks that Atletico are about to get a great deal.

Transfer makes sense
In our view, it makes sense that Sergio Reguilon is leaving Tottenham Hotspur for Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte does not fancy the former Real Madrid left-back, and it made no sense whatsoever for the Spaniard to continue at Spurs.
He was not going to get any playing time at the North London club.
Atletico are one of the biggest clubs in Spain, and regularly challenge for the La Liga title and compete in the UEFA Champions League, and Reguilon could flourish in his native country.
