In our view, Newcastle United will be disappointed with the final result.

Yes, the match was at Elland Road, but Newcastle are a better team than Leeds, who are also in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

So, we believe that the Magpies will not be happy that they could just pick up a point.

Newcastle are now third in the Premier League table with 66 points from 35 matches.

Eddie Howe’s side are three points above fourth-placed Manchester United, who have played 34 matches.

Liverpool in fifth are on 62 points from 35 games.

Wilson has now scored 17 goals and given four assists in 28 Premier League matches for Newcastle this season.
