Jack Grealish has paid tribute to his Aston Villa team-mates on Twitter following a ‘great performance’ away to Southampton.
Dean Smith’s side beat the Saints on Saturday night to move eighth in the Premier League table.
One big reason for the victory was Grealish himself.
The Aston Villa star was a thorn in Southampton’s side all night and it was his wonderful ball which led to Ross Barkley scoring the game’s only goal – his 11th assist of the season.
Ralph Hassenhuttl’s side couldn’t live with the 25-year-old, evident by how many free kicks he won for the Villans.
