West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has responded to Jack Grealish’s message to Aston Villa on Instagram following his move to Manchester City.
City have announced on their official website this evening that they have signed Grealish from Premier League rivals Villa in the summer transfer window.
The Athletic have claimed that the Premier League champions have paid £100 million to the Villans for the 25-year-old attacking midfielder.
Grealish has posted an emotional message on Instagram to Villa fans, and his England international teammate and West Ham midfielder Rice has responded to it.
It is clear that Grealish loves Villa, and that it was not an easy decision for him to move to City.
However, one can understand the England international’s decision.
City are one of the biggest clubs in the world and won the Premier League title last season.
The Citizens also reached the final of the Champions League last season.
Guardiola’s side play wonderful football and are a club who are planning to dominate English and European football for years.
It is very hard for any player, not just Grealish, to turn down a move to City.
