Javi Gracia admits Andre Gray could leave Watford this summer, so should Newcastle United once again think about signing him?

Andre Gray could leave Watford this summer, admits manager Javi Gracia, after a difficult first season at the club following a 2017 switch from Burnley.
Gray has played just 51 minutes across five Premier League matches since Gracia was named Marco Silva’s successor on January 21.

The striker had to watch from the bench without making it onto the pitch for six successive games in February and March and his only start under the new boss came during a 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the FA Cup.
Clearly Gray, who was a club record £18.5m signing (Watford Observer) when he joined from the Clarets, is not in Gracia’s plans going forward.
“We will see at the end of the season if he prefers to change club, because he needs to play more and we can speak about it,” the Spaniard said.

What next?
Newcastle United are in the market for a new striker, as reported by the Daily Mail, with Hull City’s Abel Hernandez on their radar as the Uruguay international approaches the end of his current contract at the KCOM Stadium.
The Magpies were linked with a move for Gray last summer before his eventual switch to the Hornets, as outlined at the time by the Chronicle, and with the 26-year-old seemingly available again perhaps they will renew their interest?
