Granit Xhaka’s gesture towards Arsenal teammate Matt Turner
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal got the better of Bodø/Glimt 1-0 away from home in UEFA Europa League Group A on Thursday evening.
Bukayo Saka scored the only goal of the match in the 24th minute.
Matt Turner started in goal for Arsenal, while Switzerland international midfielder Xhaka came on as a substitute in the 59th minute for Xhaka.
Football.London have reported that during one moment in the second half, when Turner kicked the ball long under pressure, Xhaka was seen gesturing to the American goalkeeper ‘with his hands pushing downwards’ to tell him to keep calm and carry on playing the ball from the back.

Leader
Granit Xhaka may not wear the captain’s armband for Arsenal anymore, but the midfielder is a leader for the Gunners and is a key figure in the middle of the park.
Xhaka is having a wonderful season for Arsenal at the moment, and one of the factors behind that is he is not as rash and impulsive with his tackles and challenges as he used to be.
The Swiss seems to have matured now.
