The midfielder was a big money signing for the Gunners in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has told Appenzeller Zeitung that he can learn a lot from his fellow Arsenal midfielders.
Xhaka was one of three signings made by Arsene Wenger this summer, arriving in a big money move from Borussia Monchengladbach.
There is a lot of expectation around the Switzerland midfielder, with fans hoping he can add the physical presence that has been sorely lacking in the Gunners midfield.
He faces a fight to get into the first team though as Arsene Wenger currently has numerous options available to him in the centre of the park.

Indeed, these numerous options have already seen Jack Wilshere head out on loan in the search for first team football.
And Xhaka admits he cannot afford to rest on his laurels but instead look to learn as much as he can from his new teammates.
“You can see the players are world class just by the way they pass the ball,” he told Appenzeller Zeitung.
“Even though the club has spent more money on me, there’s still a great deal I can learn from them, in every respect. You can’t afford to rest on your laurels at all or you’ll instantly be on the bench.”
Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere looks dejected
It will certainly be interesting to see if Xhaka is a regular in the Arsenal first team across this season.
Given the money Arsenal have paid for him it would be surprising to see him on the bench but the competition in midfield means his place is far from certain.
