Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka warms up before the game
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has promised fans they will always see him giving his best, speaking to the club’s official website.
The midfielder arrived at the club this summer in a big money move from Borussia Monchengladbach.
There is hope he can add the kind of steel and bite that has been sorely missing from their team for a number of years.
Of course, as with any big signing, there is every chance it can go wrong and prove to be a poor one.

That could happen with Xhaka but he has promised that regardless of how things pan out, he can promise he will give his all in every game.
“Maybe not everything will work out for me, but one thing they [Arsenal fans] need to know is that I will always give my all,” he told the club’s official website.
“That’s the sort of person I’ve always been. I read some of the comments and it makes me proud to know that they expect a lot from me. I really hope this will be a successful season.”

It remains to be seen if Xhaka does prove to be a smart signing for Arsenal this season.
He has made a solid start to life at the Emirates, winning four tackles, five interceptions, 19 defensive duels and 15 ball recoveries in his three games so far.
Unfortunately, though, those numbers are behind Francis Coquelin, who is his main rival for the position so far and he will have first supplant the Frenchman before he can prove himself in Arsene Wenger’s team.
