The former Tottenham Hotspur defender has responded to speculation linking Rose with a move to Manchester United.

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Graham Roberts wants a player in return should Danny Rose leave for Manchester United. And not just anyone.
Roberts – posting on Twitter ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Leicester City on Tuesday – has specifically requested Anthony Martial.

But his proposed business doesn’t end with the French forward, with the 58-year-old also eyeing Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon – who could cost around £30 million and would be seen as a direct replacement for Rose.
Roberts posted:
Roberts’ suggestions appear to have gone down well with the Tottenham fanbase, with his tweet being liked more than 400 times so far.
However, Spurs’ chances of prising Martial away from Manchester United don’t look great.

After an underwhelming 2016-17 campaign, the 21-year-old is starting to show his early United form once more, having scored or created 13 goals in 19 games – including the winner against Tottenham in October – ahead of the Red Devils’ trip to Watford on Tuesday.
That being said, Martial’s contract is due to expire at the end of next season, and should his situation remain unresolved, Tottenham may have a chance after all.
