Graham Roberts has suggested on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy should appoint Glenn Hoddle as the club’s new manager.
The former Tottenham star believes that the 63-year-old would go a better job at Spurs than some of the names being linked with the North London club.
The Guardian has reported that Tottenham have opened negotiations with Gennaro Gattuso after talks with Paulo Fonseca broke down.
Hoddle is a former Tottenham midfielder who managed the first team from 2001 until 2003.
Glenn Hoddle back to Tottenham Hotspur?
Hoddle’s name has not come up in any conversation regarding the Tottenham managerial role.
The 63-year-old last managed a club back in 2006 when he was in charge of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The former England international did work as a coach at Queens Park Rangers during the 2014-15 season.

It is hard to see Hoddle return to full-time management now.
After all, the Englishman has not been in the management game since 2006.
Moreover, Hoddle is 63 now and might not want to take a long-term project which Spurs are likely to be.
Perhaps Tottenham could approach Hoddle for his input in certain areas of coaching, but it is very unlikely that he will come back in a full-time management capacity.
