Tottenham Hotspur won against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur kicked off their 2018-19 Premier League campaign with a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United away from home at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs headed into the match as favourites, but the North London outfit had to fight for the three points.
Jan Vertonghen’s goal as early as the eighth minute put Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham in the lead, but Newcastle restored parity through Joselu just three minutes later.
England international midfielder Dele Alli put Spurs back in front on 18 minutes, and it remains 2-1 until the final whistle.
Former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar was following the match, and he was not too impressed with star striker Harry Kane.
England international striker Kane started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and Lord Sugar did not think that the 25-year-old had a good game.
Former Spurs defender Graham Roberts was also following the match, and he has urged midfielder Alli to score 20 goals this season.
