Former Tottenham defender Roberts has urged Bale to leave Madrid and return to the North London club in the summer transfer window.

Bale has not played regularly for Madrid this season, but the former Tottenham man is a man for the big occasions, as he showed against Liverpool.
The Wales international winger has won the Champions League four times with Madrid since his move to the Spanish giants in the summer of 2013.
While the 28-year-old would be a superb signing for Tottenham, his transfer fee would be huge, and there is also the small matter of paying his massive salary, with The Guardian reporting that he earns £600,000 per week salary before tax at Madrid.
