Graham Roberts has suggested on Twitter that Moussa Sissoko has been the best player for Tottenham Hotspur this season.

The former Tottenham defender has hailed the “incredible” turnaround of the France international midfielder.

At the start of the season, there were doubts on whether Sissoko will get much playing time at Spurs this campaign.

The former Newcastle United star has now established himself as an important player in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The 29-year-old has made 25 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Roberts wrote on Twitter: “Everyone asking me who I have voted for player of the year, sonny has been superb over the season as has Jan and Toby but for me one stand out winner for the incredible turn around and that is @MoussaSissoko.”
